She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harry Bauer and Mattie Bauer of Cissna Park, Illinois.; her siblings, Bill, Les, Cal, Madalyn, Lowell Bauer and Glen Hodel; her husband Donald Silas Hartman; her children, Becki Streit (Rob), Robbi Muir (John), Mona Egger (Tom), Joel Hartman (Kim) and Matt Hartman (Trish); her grandchildren, Ryan Cantrell, Kate Cantrell, Calvin Streit, John Muir, Dan Egger, Adam Egger, Lucas Hartman, Michael Hartman and Kat Hartman; her great grandchild Jo Ann; and her pet Bridgette.

Memorials to the National Audubon Society will greatly honor our mother.
