It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerel Sam Chevalier (Bloomington, Illinois), born in La Plata, Missouri, who passed away on September 27, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert and Beulah Chevalier (Wheatcraft); and his sisters, Juilane Van Houten (Freeman) and Jan Patton (Bob). He is survived by: his wife Carol Chevalier of Bloomington; his sons, Jamie Chevalier of St. Louis, MO, Joe Chevalier (Kelsey) of Columbia, MO and Chad Chevalier (Tonya) of La Grange, IL; his grandchildren, Matthew, Kyle, Charlie, Frances, Grace, Sally and Atticus; and his siblings, Jimilee Patterson of Springfield, IL and Bob Chevalier (Sandy) of Harrisonville, MO. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
