With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jean M. Reed of Bloomington, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, James P. McLaughlin and Margaret E. McLaughlin; her siblings, William McLaughlin and Mary Suzanne Cain; her brother-in-law Richard Cain; her siblings, James McLaughlin and Margaret Sanzotta; her brother-in-law Vincent Sanzotta; her brothers, Thomas McLaughlin and Patrick McLaughlin; and her nephew Patrick Sanzotta.
She is survived by: her sister Catherine Gillette (Daniel) of Chillicothe, Illinois; her niece Beth Kearfott (Tom) of El Paso, Illinois; her great-nieces, Erin Arends (Brian) of Mohamet and Casey Dawson (Tim) of Normal; her sisters-in-law, Shirley McLaughlin and Glenda McLaughlin; her nieces and nephews, Matthew Sanzotta, Peg Nocera, Tony Cain (Peggy), Katie Weinstien (Tim), Eric Losch, Colleen Watt, Pat Mclaughlin (Susie), Tim Mclaughlin (Jen), Christy Dunigan (Shawn), Karen Miles (Chris) and Michael Colgan; and also, Maggie, Charlie, Loren and Maxine.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church of Merna (1001 N Towanda Barnes Rd, Bloomington, IL 61705). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
