He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mildred Wright and Jean H. Kauffman; his wife Mary Lois Walsh; his children, Steve Kauffman of Meridian, Idaho, Tom Kauffman (Donna) of Meridian, Idaho, Sue Kauffman (Dave Burnett) of Sparta, Wis. and Melanie Evelsizer (Jerry) of Bloomington; his niece Pat Walsh of Bloomington; and his sister Mary Lois Springer. He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Children's Fishing Derby through The Stanford Sportsman's Club.
