It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Gary Stewart of Bloomington, Illinois, who passed away on January 13, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Shelby Stewart and Lorene Stewart; his brothers, John Stewart and Larry Stewart; his spouse Gerry Lynn Weakley; his sons, James Anthony Stewart (Theresa), Joey Dean Stewart (Kirsten) and John Gary Stewart (Theresa); his stepson Jason Riddle; and his brother Lanny Stewart (Debbie). He was also cherished by nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
