He was predeceased by: his parents, Lemon E. Botts and Bertie B. Strunk Botts; his siblings, Joe, Dennis, Roy Botts and Imogene Calhoun; and his son Matthew Glenn Botts.
He is survived by: his wife Julia K. Stout; his children, Robin Bell of Atlanta, IL and Jamie Botts (Tammy) of Peoria, IL.; his grandchildren, Kaleigh Buchanan (Kyle) of Chenoa, IL and Landon Bell of Atlanta, IL; and his great grandchildren, Reece, Isla Buchanan of Chenoa, IL and Arlo Bell of Peoria, IL..
