Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Helen Joyce Barclay of Bloomington, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 103, on December 2, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Ewing and Oleta Ewing (Freitag); her sisters, Bette Belle Thompson and Enid Hickman (Harold); and her nephew Harold Barclay, Jr. (Eddie).
She is survived by: her brother Elmer Ewing (Marilyn) of Ithaca, NY; her children, Richard Barclay (Kathy) of Springfield, IL and Susan Stukenberg (Randy) of Byron, IL.; and her grandchildren, Brooke Feld (Adam), Ben Barclay (Ali), Bridget Bresk (Frank), Jacob Stukenberg (Marcy) and Katie Walker (Colton). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Christian Church (401 W Jefferson St, Bloomington, IL 61701). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery Association.
