She was predeceased by: her parents, Luis Mendez and Olivia Mendez (Leon); and her brother Enrique Mendez. She is survived by: her husband Alfonso Diaz; her children, Alfonso Diaz, Jr. (Candice) of Bloomington, Veronica Cameron (Charlie) of Bloomington, Olivia Diaz of Bloomington and Francisco Diaz of Bloomington; and her siblings, Maria Olivia Mendez of Mexico, Luis Mendez, Jr. of Mexico, Lilia Mendez of Mexico, Guillermina Mendez of California, Alfonso, Alfredo, Raul, Eduardo and Ruben. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
