It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald P. Schenk of Bloomington, Illinois, who passed away on September 18, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Theodore Michael and Clara Mae Frisch Schenk; his wife Carolyn M. Goldsmith; his children, Steven Schenk, Linda Schenk of Bloomington, Mark Schenk (Linda Hickey) of Normal and David Schenk (Colleen) of Bloomington; his grandchildren, Nicole Parmele, Brandon Schenk, Erica Lopez (Rodrigo), Meghan Rose (Steven) and Ethan Schenk; his great grandchildren, Liliana Lopez, Gavyn Parmele and Stella Rose; his brother Lyle Schenk (Darlene) of Lakeland, FL; his sister-in-law Reva Champagne of Littleton, NH; and his daughter-in-law Debbie Schenk of Bloomington.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Historic St. Patrick's Church, Bloomington, Humane Society of Central Illinois, Normal or a charity of the donor's choice.
