He is survived by: his children, George Gibson (Angie) and Dawn Jones (Billy); his grandchildren, Jessica Anderson (Daniel), Michael Gibson (Jennifer) and Jake Gibson; his great grandchildren, Karley and Hailee Gibson; and his sisters, Delores Cripe and Vickie Simpson.
