He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gruenwald and Jane Gruenwald Sr. (Tomazin); and his wife Audrey Galassi. He is survived by: his children, Steven Gruenwald (Toni), Shelly Gruenwald and Gregory Gruenwald (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Joseph, Catherine, Owen and Zoe; his great grandchildren, Kolbe, Josephine and John Paul; and his siblings, David Gruenwald, Richard Gruenwald (Karen), Michael Gruenwald and Mary Weber (Larry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Epiphany Catholic Church (1000 E College Ave, Normal, IL 61761).
