He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Etka and Lucille Davis Etka; his son John Michael; his brother John; his stepdaughter Sonji; and his stepgrandson Halden.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Noble Riddle; his daughters, Angie (Jeff) of Normal and Renae (Dave) of Towanda; his stepchildren, Pete of Georgia, Gus (Terri) of Bloomington and Tina of Bloomington; his grandchildren, Alex (Shelby), Josh (Ally), Jacob, Brendan (Katy), Ben, Jake, Phillip, Jessie and Holly; and his sisters, Marcia of Las Vegas, Donna of Indiana and Karen of New Hampshire. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
