He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Knuth and Lillian B Knuth (Piefer); his son Carl Knuth; his brothers, John Knuth (Shirley) and Charles Knuth; and his brother-in-law David Deerwester.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Fitzgerald; his children, Rick Knuth (Christine), Mike Knuth (Lisa), Kathy Heck (Richard) and Karen Knuth; his sister-in-law Shirley Deerwester; his nieces, Shannon Patterson, Leigh Felesena (Terry) and Debi Kingdom; his nephew David Knuth; and his great grandchildren, Collins, Quincy and Ellis. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
