With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elma Aleen Voorheis of Bloomington, Illinois, born in Gridley, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 7, 2024 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Bayles and Jessie Kiser Bayles; and her husband Duane "Barney" Voorheis. She is survived by: her children, Duane Voorheis, Dawn Daghe (Larry), Cynthia Voorheis, Dirk Voorheis (Carla), Deb Rusthoven (Don) and Dennis Voorheis (Christopher); her sister Shirley Rosendahl; and her siblings-in-law, Marie Bayles and Paul Voorheis (Linda). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, 10 great great-grandchildren.
