Edward C. Kidwell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward C. Kidwell of Bloomington, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 31, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Edward leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Kidwell and Suzanne Kidwell (Edward Benjamin); and his siblings, Kevin Kidwell (Rita) of Bloomington, Becky Kolleng (John) of Wilmette, IL, John Kidwell (Robin) of Bloomington, Tom Kidwell (Kristina) of Woodridge, IL, James Kidwell (Dave Burke) of Indianapolis, IN and Margaret Ethridge (Bill) of Little Rock, AR.. He was also cherished by his 14 nieces and nephews and the children's children.
A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery (1806 W Washington St, Bloomington, IL 61701). A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Knights of Columbus (1706 R T Dunn Dr, Bloomington, IL 61701).
Memorials may be made in Ed's name to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, The American Diabetes Association, or Central Catholic High School.
