She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Opperman and Ann Opperman (Middleton); her husband Harold G. Garrett; her brother Jerry Opperman (Bill DeMoss); her stepson Gene Garrett; and her stepgrandson Joey Garrett.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tamela McEnany (Terry) of Salida, CO and Christi DeMoss of St. Louis, MO; her stepchildren, Donny Garrett (Laurie) of Manito, Rich Garrett (Penny) of Bloomington and Julie Garrett of Normal; her siblings, Nancy Fosdick (Bob) of Austin, TX, Vicky Quitschau (Pete) of Champaign and John Opperman (Paula) of Pontiac; and her stepdaughter-in-law Becky Garrett of Tucson, AZ. She is also survived by 7 step-grandchildren and 10 step-great-grandchildren.
