Donna Yvonne Doss Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donna Yvonne Doss of Bloomington, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerome Lane and Velma May Knight Lane; her mother-in-law Hazel Doss; her brother Jerry Lane; her sons-in-law, Jay Smithson and John VanHorn; and her brother-in-law Ralph Doss.

She is survived by: her children, Angela Hamblin (Rodney), Downs of Illinois, Tina Burton (Steve) of Bloomington, Theresa Smithson of Ellsworth, Larry Doss Jr. (Dee) of Elliott, Marnie Streeter (Gary) of Waynesville and Shalayne Doss of Bloomington, Illinois.; and her siblings, Corky Green of Osage Beach and Perry Lane (Shar) of Melvin, Illinois.. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and great great great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Park Hill Cemetery (1105 S Morris Ave, Bloomington, IL 61701).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made to the Tunnel To Towers Foundation, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, or Shriners Hospital.
