He was predeceased by: his parents, Jane Schenkel (Woodmansee) and Donald Schenkel of Bloomington, IL.; and his brother Richard E. Schenkel. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his daughters, Tamara Heerde (Greg) of Frankfort, IL and Sarah Baltz (Gary) of Mountain Brook, AL; and his grandchildren, Emily, Gary, Jack, Nicholas, Madeline, Benjamin and Maximilian. He is also survived by his family and friends.
