She was predeceased by: her parents, Reyes Ruelas and Maria Sistos; her children, Lucina Aguilera Almanza and Benito Almanza; her brother Jose Almanza; and her grandsons, Ramon Castro, Rene Almanza, Eduardo Almanza and Luiz Troche.
She is survived by: her husband Manuel Almanza; and her children, Hector Almanza of Bloomington, IL, Raul Almanza of Bloomington, IL, Eliazar Almanza of Bloomington, IL, Livier Ocampo of Bloomington, IL, Manuel Almanza, Jr. of Bloomington, IL, Graciela Montenegro of Bloomington, IL, Adelina Almanza, Martha Castro of Shirley, IL, Irma Montenegro of Bloomington, IL and Oliverio Almanza of Benson, IL. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
