He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Vogt and Geneva Vogt; his siblings, Deloris Nygaard and Russell Vogt; his nephew Rodney Vogt; his parents-in-law, Helen Bruessel and Clarence Bruessel; and his brother-in-law Duane Bruessel.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Bruessel; his daughters, Jaylene Taubert (Scott) of Bloomington, IL, Patty Hilzendeger (Perry) of Van Meter, IA and Debbie Jordan (Craig) of Oregon, WI; his grandchildren, Christa Taubert Koss (Lance), Alizabeth Taubert Young (Matt), Nikolas Hilzendeger, Sean Hilzendeger, Alex Jordan and Connor Jordan; his great grandchildren, Adelaide Taubert Koss and Holland Taubert Koss; his siblings, Donald Vogt (Rita), Roger Vogt (Jean), LaVae Ringen (Arvin) and Larry Vogt (DeAnne); and his sister-in-law Colleen Bruessel (Terry Bull). He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.
