It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Debra Shapiro of Bloomington, Illinois, who passed away on December 26, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Debra may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Debra touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her father Albert Sr. Ruhrup. She is survived by: her mother Mildred "Midge" Kessinger Ruhrup; her husband Brett W. Shapiro; her children, Stephanie Follick (Adam) and Mike Shapiro; her grandchildren, Caleb, Cody Scott, Ethan Follick, Isabella and Dominick Shapiro; and also Al Ruhrup Jr. (Stacy).
A graveside service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
