It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte R. Sweeney in Bloomington, Illinois, who passed away on October 26, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Butler and Alma Butler; her children, JoVeda, Dallas and David Butler Sr.; and her siblings, Earline Wilkins, Odessa Jones and Clarence Butler.
She is survived by: her husband Howard; her children, Anita Butler, Melissa Butler of Bloomington, IL and Frank Butler (Barbara) of Atlanta, GA; her grandchildren, Belinda Butler, Danielle Cole (Peter Sr), Ashley Johnson, Destiny Butler, Alyssa Butler, Torrey Butler, Arthur Butler, Jordan Butler, Donovan Butler, Cary Lockhart, Terry Lockhart, David Butler Jr., Desmond Butler and Cameron Cote; and her close friend Romelda Rogers. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren, alongside numerous nieces, nephews.
