He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis J Sila and Marie L Sila (Schumacher); and his sister Rose Marie Sila (Ro). He is survived by: his wife Nadine; his children, Monica Irwin (Brian) and Karl Sila; and his brother Lee Sila (Heidi). He is also survived by niece and 6 grandchildren.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Normal Public Library Foundation.
