He was predeceased by: his parents, Webb Gerwick and Verda Hinthorn Gerwick; his daughters, Sarah and Lauren Gerwick; and his sister Sandy Moore.

He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Gerwick of Fort Worth, TX and Elizabeth Gerwick.

Memorials may be directed to the Community Cancer Center, Normal.
