She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leo Hemmele and Margaret Hemmele (Callahan); her son-in-law William Hundman; and her children, Eugene Petersen (Karen), Jim Petersen (Helen) of Indianapolis, IN, Steve Petersen (Anne), Cathy Hundman, John Petersen (Toni), Mike Petersen (Joan) of Lakewood Ranch, FL and Margie Knutson (Brian). She was also cherished by 18 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Central Catholic High School, or St. Vincent de Paul.
