She was predeceased by: her siblings, Daniel Gill and Rev. Janet Smith. She is survived by: her daughter Herrin (Ethel Mae Atteberry Gill); her husband William E. White; her children, Chandra White of Fishers, IN, Kim Shockey of Hamilton, OH, Becky Knapp (Bob), William L. White (Barbara) and Anne Marie Clark (Jeff); and her grandchildren, Dr. Taylor Shockey (Justin Joyce), Lisa Hemmen (Adam), Mark Niemann (Lauren), Ashley Mayfield (Robert), Scott Niemann (Amanda), Audrey Lam (Dean), Andrew White, Rachel White, Matthew Clark, Madison Haake (Dustin), Michael Clark and Mackenzie Clark. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Doctors Without Borders.
