With solemn reverence, we commemorate Catherine Corwin of Bloomington, Illinois, whose life came to an end on February 9, 2025 at the age of 66, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert J. DeVries and Mary Jo DeVries (Weseman); her children, Abigail Elizabeth Kaesberg and Zakary Alexander Kaesberg (Julija); her sister Lori Mayfield (Jeff); her nephews, Robert Mayfield (Ashley) and Luke A. Mayfield; her niece Allison Mayfield (Jac Cooper); and her husband Jay.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Wesley United Methodist Church (502 E Front St, Bloomington, IL 61701). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 2:45 PM to 3:00 PM at the Funks Grove Cemetery.

In honor of Catherine's lifelong dedication to education and compassion, the family suggests memorial donations to the Catherine Kaesberg (CBK) and Dr. Jay Corwin Endowment Fund for Academic Success at Illinois State University Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
