He was predeceased by: his mother Frances Moritz. He is survived by: his father Ronald Moritz; his wife Raedean; his children, Ashley Pinney (Todd) and Matthew; his siblings, Michael Moritz (Debra) and Susan Wright (Terry); and his grandsons, Malachi, Kolton and Dillon. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorials be made to The American Cancer Society.
