Betty Lou Carter Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lou Carter of Bloomington, Illinois, born in Minier, Illinois, who passed away on May 29, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hoch and Clara Hoch (Riddle); and her sisters, Lorene and Lena. She is survived by: her children, Mark Carter (Karen Kistner) of Bloomington, Lisa Wylde (Randy) of Bloomington and Julie Shackley (Tom) of Bloomington; her grandchildren, Nate Carter (Melissa), Tanner Carter (Ashley), Sam, Ben, Luke Wylde, Kevin, Jack and Maggie Shackley; her great grandchildren, Jake and Sophie Carter; and her brother Billy Hoch of Minier.
