We bid farewell to Betty Lanham (Bloomington, Illinois), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 17, 2025 at the age of 100. Betty touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustave Krentel and Rosa Etta Krentel; her sister Ruth Butterfield (Max); and her granddaughter Sarah Phillips. She is survived by: her husband H. Robert Lanham (Bob); her sister Rosemary Sheets (William); and her children, Diana Phillips (Mikel) of Bloomington, Mariruth Overton (Stephen) of Batavia, IL and Robert Lanham (Cathryn) of Roselle, IL. She is also survived by six grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial (1104 N Main St, Bloomington, IL 61701). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cross Pointe Church of God (Bloomington, IL) Youth Ministry or to Samaritan's Purse.
