He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Wheeler and Vera Wheeler (Capodice); his sister Gloria Case; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Case and Dr. Jim Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Jaime Wheeler of Bloomington, IL; his children, Michael Wheeler (Rebecca) of Colorado, Cindy Wheeler (Andy Davis) of Chicago, IL and Chris Wheeler of Bloomington, IL; and his siblings, Marion Smith of Normal, Nancy Lanier (John Ed) of Bloomington and Steve Wheeler (Diana) of Normal. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
