She was predeceased by: her parents, William Pomeranke and Mable Pierce Pomeranke; her spouse Thomas McAuley; her brother Donald; and her sister-in-law Evelyn Pomeranke.
She is survived by: her former husband Kenneth Cox; her children, Jim, Jane and Jo Ellen; her grandchildren, Jeff Gochanour (Jodi), Wenona, Josh Gochanour (Nikki), Jaci Aldus (Jesse), Jennifer Strauss (Mike), Julie Dale (Darren), Marc Smith (Ashley) and Kathy Burk (Ben) of Missouri; and her stepsons, Tom (Marty) and Don McAuley (Sandy). She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (1617 E Emerson St, Bloomington, IL 61701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Rutland Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, St. John's Lutheran Church or Westminster Village.
