He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Chidester and Mary Chidester; his siblings, Mary Nix (George), Carol Bracci (Reno), Dorothy Ebenhoeh (Guy), Thomas (Marilyn), John (Becky) and Edward (Maureen); his goddaughter Jeanne Carlisle; and his sisters, Joanne O'Connor (Jerome) and Patricia Rose. He was also cherished by many other nieces and nephews.

Michael D. Chidester, 69, died April 1, 2023 from complications of Alzheimer's Disease.
