With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James W. Owens (Bloomingdale, Illinois), born in Elmhurst, Illinois, who passed away on February 3, 2025 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James W. Owens to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his son James W. Owens, Jr.; his brother Steven Owens; and his parents, Howard Owens and Margaret Owens. He is survived by: his wife Roberta Owens; his children, John Owens, Kelly Owens, Stephanie Owens and Kimberly Owens; his grandchildren, Alex Owens, Zachary, Lucas Macdonald, Lincoln and Livia Dziewulski; and his brother Howard Owens (Barbara). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mission Church (82 Stratford Dr, Bloomingdale, IL 60108). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Jim's name to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, ensuring that his legacy of compassion continues to make a difference.
