It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude Brieschke of Bloomingdale, Illinois, who passed away on August 15, 2022, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Adam Schlitt; and her siblings, Viola, Lucille, Arthur and Ann.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Piepenbrink (John), Diane Modlin (late Ralph) and Lois Greenfield; her grandchildren, Sarah Horn, Erin Miller (John), Kate Horn (Andrew Braley), John Piepenbrink (Kelsey Stiles), Meg Piepenbrink, Jeff, Scott Modlin, Ross and Brian Greenfield; and her great grandchildren, Landon and Colton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
