He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jenny Lind; his children, Raymund and Abigail; his stepchildren, Janxene Abalos (Joseph), Rauland, Michelle and Matthew Laygo; his parents, Isidoro and Letecia; and his brothers, Benito, Felimon (Inday), Dodie (Marissa) and Ferdinand Avorque.
