He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hornbaker and Ethel Pensinger Hornbaker; and his wife Phyllis Bice. He is survived by: his children, Philip Hornbaker (Elizabeth) of Las Vegas and Greta Harris (Gary) of Macomb; his girlfriend Deloris Rodeffer of Blandinsville; his grandchildren, Jade Hornbaker (Mike Valentin), Brett Harris (Brandi), Bart Harris (Lacey) and Brittany Fraley (Billy); and his sister Ruth Harper. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to the Blandinsville-Hire Fire and Rescue Squad.
