She was predeceased by: her parents, Lou Schwebach and Leona Peters Schwebach. She is survived by: her husband James McConnell; her children, Tammy McConnell (Chuck Lee) of LaHarpe, Rhonda Calvert (Steve) of Sciota, Michele Krohe of New Lenox and T. J. McConnell (Andrea) of Erie; her grandchildren, Owen McConnell (Katelyn), Paige McConnell (Maden Tacey), Kate McConnell, Dustin Derry (Megan), Chelsea Livermore (John), Madison Calvert (Dawson Mynatt), Haley Calvert, Lindy Finke (Mitch), Brock Krohe, Lia Krohe and Tristan Krohe; her great grandchildren, Brior, Wrenlee McConnell, Charleigh, MacKenzie Derry, Cora, Lux Livermore, Gannon and Jackson Finke; and her siblings, Sally Pluger of Lamars and Dickey Schwebach of Sioux City, Iowa..
