He was predeceased by: his parents, Elston Brown and Elsie Brown; his brothers, Bryon Brown and Byron Brown; and his nephews, Michael Murray and Timothy Murray.
He is survived by: his sister Carolyn Murray (Brown); his wife Carole Brown (French); his children, Sheryl Ribbe (Jim) of Bismarck, Kim Magee (Glenn) of Powell, Joe Brown (Tracey) of Mt. Juliet, TN and Jim Brown (Lori) of Mahomet, IL; his grandchildren, Chelsea Stillwell, Kyley Myers, Tyler Ribbe, Chloe Ehalt, Tanner Ribbe, Amanda Wallace, Max Magee, Jack Brown and Kate Brown; his great grandchildren, Felicity Myers and Etta Ehalt; his nephews, Greg, Steve, Randy Brown, Jeff Murray and Bill Murray; and his niece Lori Rainey.
