She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel J. DeNeal and Elizabeth DeNeal (Starr); her daughter Brenda Smith; her granddaughter Brittany Smith; her great grandchild Kyler Tull; and her brother-in-law Larry Finley.
She is survived by: her husband Norman R. Claypool; her sons, Barry Claypool (Diane) and Byron Claypool (Vickie) of Bismarck; and her siblings, Carolyn Jean Finley of Catlin, Marilyn Eicken (Robert) of Edwards, Lois Siddens (Robert) of Holiday, FL and Richard DeNeal (Patricia) of Monticello.
