She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Louis and Bernice Moorman Douglas; her husband John Raymond Smith; her daughter Shelby Baggett; her grandson Douglas Wayne Mason; and her siblings, Katherine Haun and Walter Wayne Douglas.
She is survived by: her children, John "Ralph" Smith (Lucy A.) of Bismarck, IL, Garnet Irene Hauger (John) of Spring Arbor, MI, Debbie Mason (Wayne) of Danville, IL and Gina Louise Anderson (Kenneth) of Paducah, KY; her brother Robert Douglas of Bonneau, SC; and her half-sister June Potts (Ron) of Florida. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren.
