He is survived by: his parents, Rita Gettleman and Morris Gettleman; his wife Kelley Gettleman; his children, Karah Sturm (Lucas) and Kody Gettleman; his granddaughters, Addilyn and Violet Sturm; and his siblings, Gerald Gettleman, Joseph Gettleman and Kristina Carsner (Scott). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
