He is survived by: his wife Katy Stockard; his sons, Kevin Dunavan of Danville and Darren Dunavan (Joanne) of Toccoa, Georgia; his sister Mary Jo McDonald; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Peter and Leah Dunavan.
