He is survived by: his wife Peggy Hobby; his daughters, Heidi Ruebush (Mike) of Lomax and Angela McConnell of Biggsville, Illinois; his grandchildren, Jalen Smith (Zach), Layton Tallman, Brayden McConnell and Keaton Ruebush; his great grandchild Karsyn Smith; his siblings, Debra Walker (Larry) of Lomax, Illinois, Susan Smith (Dave) of Hamilton, Illinois, Vance Nixon of St. Charles, Missouri and Vince Nixon (Beverly) of Ainsworth; and his pet Daisy.
