Donna Carothers-Price Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna Carothers-Price (Biggsville, Illinois), who passed away on April 26, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter Carothers and Flora Carothers (Cumpton); her husband Robert L. Price; her son Paul Price (Judith Sloan) of Austin; her grandchildren, Eric Price of Austin and Dana Leaman (Max) of Austin; her great grandchildren, Sloan Leaman and Clark Leaman of Austin, Texas.; her daughter-in-law Mary Loehman of Minneapolis, Minnesota.; and her son Robert L. Price, II.

A memorial service will be held when restrictions from the Covid-19 pandemic are lifted.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oquawka and Stronghurst Food Banks.

“Donna and Bob price were very close friends of Dave and Lynda Paul when we served in Army in Ingrandes, France. Donna and I did a lot of traveling around France and we played bridge together often. Her favorite saying was ducey took a trick. I so enjoyed talking to her before Christmas in 2019. She even made a trip to Columbus, Ohio in 2001 for our daughter’s wedding. I will miss her a great deal. I loved her. Lynda Paul”
