She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph A McDermeit and Maggie E. Goff McDermeit; her sons, Chase Nichols of Missouri Valley, Iowa, Bill (Sarah McDermeit) and Cole Nichols (Brad); her grandchildren, Jordan, Madison McDermeit, Payton Eberts and Bradyn McDermeit; her great grandchild Kinley Turner; her pet Lizzie; her brothers, Ronald and Donald; and her sister-in-law Linda McDermeit. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
