It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Brigel of Big Rock, Illinois, who passed away on June 12, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Ahrendt and William F. Ahrendt; her husband George F. Brigel; her sister Margaret Ryan; and her sons, Robert and Craig Brigel.
She is survived by: her cousin Dorothy; her children, Paula Nesbitt (Robert), Ronald Brigel (Tammy), Gary Brigel and Lynne Paver (Richard); her grandchildren, Jeanne Palmeri (Joseph), Ronald Brigel, Robert Nesbitt, Jake Paver, Jessica Brigel (Tyler), Jessica Caspers (Donny), Rebecca Runyon (Adam), Sarah Anderson (Ian), Alexis Caspers, Kellie Brigel, Lauren Paver and Dakota Callaway; and her great grandchildren, Marley Darvassy, Alec Palmeri, Tyler Nesbitt, Chase Palmeri, Katie Nesbitt, Logan Palmeri, Hudson Brigel and RaeLynn Paydon.
