It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dwight M. Klotz of Big Rock, Illinois, born in Sandwich, Illinois, who passed away on April 24, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Klotz and Eleanor Klotz (Voss); his wife Patricia Nelson; his daughter Gay Coakley; his stepdaughter Julie Allen; his brother Jacque Klotz; and his great grandchildren, Jeffrey S. Klotz, Randy Wielert and Barry Coakley.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Klotz (Joyce) of Big Rock, IL, Gregory Klotz (Renee) of Big Rock, IL, Vicky Wielert of Hinckley, IL and Melinda Engel (Tim) of Hinckley, IL; and his stepchildren, Joan Haffenrichter (Don) of Yorkville, IL, Larry Allen (Laura), Patty Allen, Susan Allen of Yorkville, IL, Debi Merriken and John Allen (Christine). He is also survived by several grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to National Ataxia Foundation, or Vita's Hospice.
