She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Payne and Carrie Payne (Anderson); her husband John M. Wood; and her sister Marjorie Payne. She is survived by: her son Andy Wood (Brandi) of Buchanan, TN; her grandsons, Quinton Wood (Darrian) of Louisville and Dalton Wood of Louisville; and her great grandchild Johnathon Wood. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Joy's memory to the Pinehaven Christian Children's Ranch and School or Oil Belt Christian Service Camp, and those will be accepted through the funeral home.
