She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Ayers and Ilda Soules Ayers. She is survived by: her children, Robert Fandel of Bethany and Ellen Ladd (Matthew) of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; and her siblings, Kenneth Ayers (Susi) of Frederica, Delaware, Carolyn Lourash (Kerry) of Decatur, Nancy Scribner of Decatur, Lela Ayers of Shelbyville and Becky Thompson (Douglas, Jr.) of Dover, Deleware.. She is also survived by four grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Decatur or the Alzheimer's Association.
